Please help us learn more about Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia! The Bing Center for Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia (WM) at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, led by Dr. Steven Treon, is doing a study about how Waldenstöm’s macroglobulinemia develops and how your family history may play a part. We are looking for people with Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia and their families to join our study. We also welcome people with WM who do not have the disease in their family. If you choose to take part in the study, we will ask you to:

  • take a survey about your health and family history
  • use a special mouthwash to collect cells from the inside of your cheek
  • visit your local hospital or clinic to have a small amount of blood drawn

Each family member who chooses to take part will also be asked to take a survey and give cheek cell and blood samples. You and your family members do not need to come to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute to take part in this study. You can send us everything we need by mail. By taking part in our study, you can help us learn how to better help people with WM in the future. To join the study or learn more, please:
