Manit joined the Bing Center in February 2017 after graduating from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a B.S. degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and an M.S. degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. At UMass, he spent 5 years working in an immunology lab with a focus on the Notch signaling pathway in Multiple Sclerosis. Manit is currently working with Dr. Guang Yang on a few drug development projects as well as a variety of other studies.
